As Jhonen will soon discover, I like to save everything and I HATE to forget things. I like making scrapbooks, but I now know what happens after over a decade of scrapbooking. You end up stuck with a LOT of scrapbooks and nowhere to put them. This blog is the perfect way to keep pictures of you, videos of you (we’re going to get a fun little handycam soon), and a journal about you and what you’re up to! It will be a virtual scrapbook that anyone can access any time!
Ben and I are going to post up some pictures of how your room is coming along and how big my belly is getting. You received your first packages this last week which was fun. Your name was on the package and the delivery guy said, “I have a package for Jhonen Burbank” and pronounced your name just fine. So far you have gotten an adorable outfit, a changing pad, a crib bedding set, a baby bathtub, a crib, a baby bouncer, a pack and play, and a gliding chair for your room. I also couldn’t resist picking up a couple onesies for you.
I started a registry on Amazon.com and at Target. I can’t decide what stroller to get you, but otherwise I think I’ve registered for the things I can foresee needing and wanting for you. We’ll see!
We are SO excited for you to arrive!

Jess – You are a GREAT MOM and Ben you are a GREAT DAD already! This totally rocks.Great site Chris. Thank you all for being EACH OF YOU!
Jessica, I can’t even begin to tell you the emotions coursing through me as I saw Jhonen’s acrobatics, his little pouty mouth, his long fingers and toes…I guess I saw a lot of his Granda Guy in him, and even though he will have beautiful aspects of everyone in his history, when I see him, I see your dad and I am so grateful that Jhonen is coming soon. It will be like having a piece of everyone I hold precious right there in one little boy.
